Carol Platt

Senior Innovation Consultant, Imperial College London

Carol started in the NHS in 1976 at Alder Hey Children's Hospital when technology was a shorthand pad and a manual typewriter and a far cry from the AI chatbot she works with now. Carol has been part of the Innovation team for 3 years and has mainly been involved with the development of the AI chatbots. Carol is also involved in a range of other projects bringing her knowledge of quality improvement and Patient and Family Centred Care Methodology
