Olufemi Olajide

Senior Data Scientist, UN HIEx

Olufemi is a dentist turned Machine Learning/Artificial Intelligence enthusiast and currently leads Data Science team in Alder Hey Children’s Hospital. His team developed a number of Data Science solutions, including, Emergency Department daily attendance predictions, Patient Triaging tool, determining the risk of developing Hospital Acquired Infections etc. Olufemi is also a recipient of a competitive PhD award in 2016 to pioneer the first ever caries risk inequality prediction tool in children that was developed entirely from Social Determinants of Health.
