Walk With Path is a medtech company developing solutions to irregular gait in chronic diseases, such as Parkinson’s, diabetes, stroke and multiple sclerosis.
The main goal is to improve mobility through injury prevention and user-centered design creating social impact in our society, improving the lives of users and giving them independence and confidence walking.
Walk With Path currently has one product available for sale - Path Finder LaserShoes for people with Parkinson’s.
Lise Pape is the founder of Walk With Path. She was inspired to develop a mobility device for her own father who has Parkinson's and was struggling to walk.
Lise is now working with her team of engineers on developing her second mobility device Path Feel which will help people with diabetes who suffer from peripheral neuropathy. Walk With Path is launching Path Feel in 2021.
Walk With Path has won more than 20 awards worldwide since 2014.
According to the company, the design of the camera was developed to meet the needs of general healthcare providers, including primary care, optometry, retail health clinics and home health settings, and ensure accessibility and practicality in these environments.
